Hey people.

Vic here again and although this is something I'd rather not talk about its still yeah.

Do not call in the control room, because it interferes with the frequency and dunno whatever thing which Mr TJL would undoubtedly know, but we don't. Anyway we have gotten feedback (ha-ha) from downstairs that it causes feedback, so yeah.

AV people get blamed for whatever shit happens, so we have to reduce the chance of that and uhh make sure that we give them less reasons to blame us. So please don't use your handphones in the control room as far as possible.

Also, would the justea packet in the control room have anything to do with any of you? Because Boonhwee says that you're not to eat in the control room, and even if you MUST (say like you got severe gastritis or something) please do not eat at the windows/chew at the windows/do anything conspicuously near the windows. The windows may look small but they allow people to see enough into the control room. People can actually SEE you breaking the school rules, and then they'll come up and all of us will get booked.

So yeah from now on, please try to abide to the AV rules better, or else I'll have to tell Cheryl and Boonhwee.

Hey all, Vic here again.

Just to let yall know (you SHOULD know already) that there's a new enthu AV teacher in school, who looks like he may actually know something about the sound system. He is MR THOMAS JEREMY LEE, and you can call him Mr Thomas, Mr Jeremy, or Mr Lee. He's appealing to join AVPA, so you might be seeing him around soon.

Keep your hopes up, because soon we might be moving from unorthodox Sprite Bottles to real AV techgeeky stuff. He is a True AV Geek.

By the way, you can make feedback by turning up the volume for the condenser mikes to the max, when they're being used. Feedback is exceptionally useful for keeping a noisy crowd in check, so the next time a random teacher asks you to "give them feedback, girls!" you know what to do.

But don't do it during people's speeches, no matter how tempting it may be.

Oh, and Denise wants to come up with cheers for our pathetic batch. We should have a spelling one, like,

Hey all you were supposed to post the latest crap discussion we had about lots of stuff (I can never really pinpoint an exact topic, we change topic faster than we breathe.)

BUT YOU DIDN'T.

Anyway since I am sick and free I shall blog about Sec 4 farewell, since A LOT OF YOU DIDN'T COME.

It wasn't really Sec 4 Farewell so much as Sec 4 Bullying time. New EXCO was introduced, for those not in the know that's

And a new position just created this year: Publicity manager, Shen Jiayi. So now you know who to go to when you need stuff. Rachel P. will probably be calling you lot to inform you of events, so do recognise her name.

We played the balloon game, and Mr Segerra (Last year's TIC who is very nice and still very enthu about AV) and Mr Nuh came to play for awhile. All against Sec4s, so Sec4s lost and got water sloshed all over them. After that we dumped powder on their heads, which escalated into a powder fight, making the whole damn hall powdery.

We were supposed to have pizza, but the pizza people cocked up our order and instead of giving us six pizzas, gave us six drumlets. Yeah, six drumlets, as in six chicken drumsticks. Six teeny tiny chicken drumsticks. No one really knows what happened.

Boonhwee wants me to tell you all not to eat in the Control Room, and uhh no putting up of random notes. Like the eye one, which has already been taken down I think.

Anyway, Anthony Pink is still there so...

It has obviously no relation to AVPA, except for the whole "record" thing, and even that is no good excuse.

But I am tired, emo, and stressed out and if I get another shitty comment like "omg ur skin sux got no relation to av11111" I will blow my brains out on the ceiling. I swear it. I will put a gun in my mouth, shout "XXX HAS MY BLOOD ON HIS/HER HANDS!" and then squeeze the trigger.

I spent all my computer time trawling through codes, and I don't see why everyone can't just listen to Daniel and CODE PROPERLY. Entering the appropriate tabs and lines is NOT HARD.

After making the whole thing look SOMETHING like reasonable code, my lovely computer hung and all my effort was lost. Thank you.

Which is why I am emo, tired and stressed and extremely liable to killing or throwing something.

Hello my dear fellow mikestand guardians.

I shall tell you a story.

The story is...

The Mike was on top of the Mikestand.

The Mikestand gripped the Mike hard, but the Mike complained that the Mikestand was gripping it at the wrong place.

Thus the Mike slipped off the Mikestand and fell on a random prefect trying to shorten the Mikestand. (This is not meant to be offensive to prefects, or a precursor of what might happen in future.)

The prefect said ouch.

Summary of Minutes:

1. Victoria, Denise, Rachel sit at table and talk nonsense

2. Denise attempts to start Japanese Essay.

3. Denise stops at “My holiday was very fun. I went shooting every day. “, after second sentence is translated into “ mainichi, SOOK-CHING o-shimas.” Denise moans about the word for shooting in Japanese.

4.Denise gives up. Victoria Laughs.

5.Xinyuan, Crystal, Hannah exit to watch performance by drum people

6.Rachel reports that Something Disturbing is Going On AKA Code WTF. Rachel has observed a remarkable drop in levels of sanity in Xinyuan, Crystal, and Hannah, who are watching drum performance from above outside AV room.

7.It is noted that three members of the six-member batch of sec2AVPAers are approaching inevitable insanity.

8.Apparently, Xinyuan and Crystal are watching random bangings with great gusto, while Hannah is swaying to the beat. Rachel, Victoria, and Denise start laughing like mad and promptly collapse into fits of laughter when Crystal comes in again.

9.Xinyuan and Hannah come in.

10.Meeting is brought to formal order and first pertinent issue discussed is Gay Guy Names ( below ).

11.Issue is further carried on to Hot Guy Names.

12.Brief interlude when Hannah, Crystal, Rachel, and Xinyuan suggest that Daniel go on the top of the list for “ Hot Guy Names.”

13.Victoria Objects.

14.Compromise is reached – Daniel is a hot guy name w/o any personal bias, Victoria bears little/no resemblance to Daniel.

15.More names are drawn up for discussion.

16.Voting is carried out. Topic of Voting is – Is Joseph as disgusting guy name or Not?

17.Results are not reached/ Results were not recorded.

18.Simply Retarded Category comes up.

19.Hannah comments that one of crystal’s eyes is bigger than the other.Denise begs to differ.

20.Crystal comments that Xinyuan’s eyes look like they’ve been carved with a penknife. Ouch.

21.Conclusion that Denise has cartoon like eyes/ smiley eyes is reached.

22.Conclusion that Rachel has the biggest eyes is reached. Rachel writes it down happily.

22.Crystal agrees to pose for the belt-look.

23.Crystal demonstrates different levels of beltness- the potato sack, the doll look , the boob support, and convent girl, etc etc.

24.Pictures are taken.

25.Bell rings. Meeting is adjourned.

Ooookay I got this skin from Dancingsheep (Ohmygawd, excellent coder) and although I hate navi skins I couldn't really find a microphonish/speakerish/avish skin.

I think there's a glitch but I'm working on this on my laptop so I don't really want to make the changes until I'm back on my desktop. My laptop's widescreen you see =P

Yaaaaa anyway when I'm freer (APCG WEEK! YES!) I MIGHT change the blogskin. I don't have my GIMP brushes on my laptop (Oh, yes, it's so so so irritating!) so well just hope that I use my desktop again soon.
